Existing embed integration

This is reference material for the retained script and API. Existing API keys, account access and billing are retained. The widget uses the bounded request described below.

The local snapshot preview does not run account, API or embed services. This page does not confirm a working production integration or offer a new subscription.

Script reference

The existing script requests resources using an API key. Replace the placeholder below only in your own integration. Do not enter a key into this public page.

Configuration

data-key
Required. Your existing PeerSift API key.
data-subreddit
Optional community filter, such as selfimprovement. Omit to show all.
data-limit
Optional integer from 1 to 100. The widget requests and shows that many resources. Missing, invalid or out-of-range values use 5.
data-api-url
Optional API base URL. Defaults to the origin serving the embed script.

The API accepts an optional limit from 1 to 100. Requests without it retain the full legacy response. metadata.total always describes all matching records, even when fewer are returned.

Invented counts · No live request · No resource links

Interpret the data cautiously

Imported mention counts can include repeated extraction. They do not count independent people, votes or verified recommendations. Extraction can produce wrong names and unrelated matches; a resource’s presence is not a quality assessment.

The revised public catalog suppresses exact known synthetic sources and one confirmed false record from discovery. The retained API and embed have their existing behavior; those display corrections have not been applied to their data contract.
