40F. How do you answer “did you not want kids?” Question? It just didn’t happen for me but I find this so dumb and rude given I’m single.

I think it's rude too. I have kids, when I ask someone if they have kids and they say no, I leave it there. If they want to say more, thats up to them. To be honest, it's NONE OF MY BUSINESS.
